From 6pm tonight, Friday 8th January, until 6pm Monday 11th January
Gymnastics Clubs in the areas of Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Redlands
will close for the three-day lockdown.
The Queensland Government’s website
provides more information on this lockdown. Guidelines found on the website state the following, “all community sports will be cancelled during the duration of the lockdown period”. The guidelines additionally comment on outdoor sports such as golf and tennis, both of which are not permitted. Therefore, these guidelines will require the closure of gymnastics clubs within the Greater Brisbane region for the three-day lockdown.
