The Advanced Silver Coach Accreditation provides a coach with the skills and knowledge to coach athletes up to state and/or national level and with the potential to support gymnasts on the pathway to international competition.

The Advanced Silver Accreditation is gained by completing a FIG Level 2 Academy Program.  To find out more about the accreditation and the FIG Level 2 Academy Program please select a box below.

Gymnastics Australia can now confirm the following dates for FIG Level 2 Academy Coaching courses in Australia: 

FIG Level 2 Academy - MAG, WAG & ACR 
Date: 8th to 15th December 2018
Location: Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra, ACT

Application closing date: 12th October 2018

FIG Level 2 Academy - AER, RG, TRP & TUM
Date: January 2019
Location:Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra, ACT or QLD - TBC

Please note: If all eligibility requirements are met, applications will be processed on a first come first served basis and a $250 deposit (which will be deducted from the final course fee) is required to secure your place on the selected course. This payment must be received within 10 working days of your application being accepted or your place may be reallocated. 

Who should apply?
This course is most suited to coaches who have extensive experience working at Australian Levels 7 to 10 or equivalent. To gain this experience it is expected that the coach will have gained knowledge through appropriate professional development and learning. 

Please be advised that in order to be eligible for an Advanced Silver Coach Accreditation candidates must achieve 80% or above in the both the theoretical and practical components of the course. If a candidate already holds an Advanced Silver Accreditation course results will not affect this accreditation.

Course Cost
Course cost will vary depending on the option selected, see below for further information. We are also extremely excited to now offer payment plans for this course.  

Option A – Course, accommodation and all meals – $2000.00
Option B – Course only – $1000.00

*Payment plans will incur an additional fee of $100.00 to cover administration and bank fees.

High Performance Coach Accreditation(Please click here)

The High Performance Coach Accreditation provides a coach with the skills and knowledge to coach athletes up to national or international level, and applying high performance systems. This accreditation targets coaches with gymnasts competing at junior or senior international level.

Please note: As this course is a licensed FIG Level 3 Academy all applicants must be approved by the FIG. As such the application process is different to that of the FIG Level 2 Academy and attendance cannot be guaranteed, read over the application process information carefully to avoid disappointment.
